Shipping & returns

The shop is currently paused while our next breeding colonies grow out. The policy below applies to all orders from reopening; it's published now so you know exactly what you'll be agreeing to.

Shipping

We ship livestock within mainland UK on tracked next-day services, dispatched Monday to Wednesday to keep animals out of weekend depots. You'll receive tracking by email on dispatch. During temperature extremes we may hold dispatch for animal welfare and will always tell you first.

Live arrival

Every livestock order is covered by our Live Arrival Guarantee: photograph unopened bags within two hours of delivery if anything is wrong, and we'll replace or refund the affected livestock.

Returns

Live animals can't be returned by post, for their sake — issues are handled through the guarantee above. Unopened dry goods (food, botanicals) can be returned within 14 days of delivery for a refund; contact us first and we'll give you the address.
